I think Katy Perry is hot, but a little of her music goes a long way for me, so I don't go searching for new music by her. My sister shared this video on Facebook, though, and yeah, I think we've all got one who got away, even if we can't admit it.

I love Community, and I don't even notice all the little Easter Eggs. Of course, when they take three seasons to complete, sure, I'll get a little lost.

I'll be watching Alcatraz because of the people involved, not because of this commercial. I have absolutely no idea what the show is about, and this commercial tells me nothing except that somehow Alcatraz is involved in something.

The video from Chloe (you remember Chloe from 24, right?) is okay, but I watched it because it features music from Wired All Wrong and Self.

Here are a bunch of beagles (my favorite breed of dogs ever!) who get their first experience of being outside and on grass. They were lab dogs who spent their lives in cages. If you have even the tiniest scrap of human emotions, this video will touch your heart. It's adorable! They don't know what to do!

The latest trailer for Breaking Bad is great for those of you who have heard lots of good things about the show but don't really know the basics. This gives you the basics, plus teases you for the season that starts in...9 days! Yay!



I used to watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report religiously. It's how I got my news. But lately I just can't bring myself to watch any late-night talk shows. I caught Jon Stewart's recent interview with Louis C.K., though, and as always he was brilliant. In this interview he breaks down why farts are funny.

Massive Celebratory Video Constitutional!!!

It's the Fourth of July weekend! It's my 400th blog post! It's...well, I guess that's it.

I got into Breaking Bad late, right before the third season (this past one) started. I caught up quickly, and I fell in love with it. The new season starts in just a few weeks, and I'm thinking I may need to brush up on season three a bit.



I think this is all of a Green Lantern movie that I need.



I don't know what to think about 30 Minutes or Less. It's full of people I like, but it really doesn't look all that funny.

This is just what I needed before diving back into True Blood with the new season just starting on HBO.



I really hope Captain America is a good movie. I like Chris Evans, I like Tommy Lee Jones, I like Hugo Weaving, and I like Captain America when he's written as an actual soldier, not a Boy Scout super hero.

Big Mac Meatloaf? Sure. Lights? Meh. Not my music, but the lead singer is awful cute.

Neil Gaiman on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson from June 28, 2001. If I could bring myself to DVR late night TV (I've even given up on The Daily Show and The Colbert Report), I'd watch this show.



Famous Last Words, starring Jacob from Lost/Lucifer from supernatural, Shane from The Walking Dead, and two other guys. It's pretty funny. How's that for a stirring recommendation?

This and "Isn't She Lovely" are probably tied for favorite Stevie Wonder song. And this arrangement is incredible. REALLY makes me want to get my sax in the shop so I can start playing again. Guess I know what I'll be doing today since I get off work early.



Conan "double booked" a couple of comedians, so he had them come out and perform at the same time. These guys are great, as is their timing. I love how one guy's joke will end, and you'll get the crazy punch line from the other but not know what the hell he was talking about.

New Foo Fighters single, the first one (I guess "White Limo" was just a VD treat?) off of their new album. I don't like it as much as I did "White Limo," but that might be because there was great video goodness to watch while the song played. We'll see how my tune changes when the inevitable video is out. I don't think these guys have made a video that I haven't liked.



Like almost every other fan of Firefly, I miss it greatly. But I love Nathan Fillion's latest role as author/detective Richard Castle. Here's how he continues to show his love of Captain Reynolds on his new show.

I like each Ok Go CD a bit less than the previous, but the videos are still awesome. And this one has doggies!



How can you NOT watch DJ Kitty without smiling?



New trailer for the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Looks like I've got to rewatch all the movies before November. I'll probably reread all the books after the last movie.

Holy shit! Don't eat a red gummy bear and then drink some potassim chlorate (I'm assuming that's the main ingredient in banana juice?).



Oh, how I really really really wish this would have been the opening to Iron Man 2. I was SOOOO disappointed when I didn't see the Pepper-kissing-the-helmet scene that played in almost all the trailers. I guess I kind of get that Favreau wouldn't want to open the movie with a hungover Stark, y'know, with a bunch of kids watching it, but that logic gets shot down once Stark and Rhodey slug it out while Tony is smashed.




If only they would have made fun of Bill saying "Sookie" in his horrible accent. It's still better than Katy Perry.
